Trainer Profile: Wolfgang is the President of SBS Network Solutions, an Information Technology consulting and Training Company specializing in the installation and support of networks and associated products. He has over thirty years in the Computer industry and twenty years of technical management experience and is a MCSE Windows NT & Windows 2000, MCSE+Internet, a Microsoft Certified Trainer (MCT), a ComptTIA A+ Certified Support Engineer, and is able to teach all 4 levels of the Security Certified Professional track.

Computers have always been a fascination to Wolf and he is a passionate problem solver and life-long learner. He started his career in South Africa in Electronics, and the move into designing and manufacturing hardware and software for computer-based products was natural for him. In 1984 he joined Toyota S.A. Manufacturing as a Network Manager, which included installing computers into a mainframe environment and designing and supervising the reconstruction of the computer network cabling and hardware and software changes.

In 1988 Wolfgang started DIME Computer Services and was one of the earlier importers of PC into the Durban, South African market. DIME was one of the first Network, hardware and software sales and support companies in Durban. For the past 14 years he has consulted on the setup of all types of Networks, Intranets, and Internet connections. He has been sought out by companies to provide technical expertise in the recommendation and demonstration of new software and hardware and his goal has always been to provide superior customer service and support.

Recently, in 1997, Wolf discovered a new passion – teaching, and started SBS Network Solutions, which focuses on Technical high-end training, network installations and support, to small and medium businesses. He is currently contracted by Royal Roads University in Victoria to teach courses in the Systems Analyst Diploma Program, as well as the Industry Certified Network Security Diploma. He enjoys teaching a subject he is so passionate about and his caring and supportive attitude has helped many students gain the confidence and skills needed to excel in the IT industry. The company still has a branch in South Africa and Wolfgang has relocated its Head Office to Victoria.
